
CERT Training
Are you looking to make a difference in your community by becoming CERT trained? CERT team members can help first responders with responsibilities that may include light search and rescue, data collection, and food distribution. Training is free and will include valuable information on how you can prepare your family when a disaster occurs.
UNITED WAY OF THE MIDLANDS OFFERS NIMS TRAINING CLASSES
It has been found that those who have received NIMS training are more easily integrated into the disaster response.
100 - April 3, 2010 from 8:30am-4:30pm at the United Way of the Midlands, Omaha OR April 7, 2010 from 8:30am-4:30pm at Loess Hills Red Cross, 705 N. 16th, Council Bluffs

If you are interested in being CERT trained, please send an email to Curtis Rainge and we can put your name on our list. Once dates and locations have been finalized, you will be notified to see if your schedule will allow you to attend the class.
Register for either class by sending an email here. You will be notified of the location of the training, but it will take place in Sarpy County.
